Camp de Mar
Platja de Camp de Mar is situated at four kilometres from Andratx, between Platja de ses Dones and the impressive Cap Andritxol. This sandy area with hotels in houses on the coastline is the end of a wide u-shaped sea inlet, and the beach is quite crowded by local visitors and tourists. In the centre of this bay there is a small island emerging from the water, known as la Illeta, with a narrow wood bridge to the beach. This big rock is the best attraction of this place. La Illeta has a restaurant and the bridge is also a jetty for the passenger launches that go to Illa de sa Dragonera. The marine and underwater conditions for anchoring boats are good. The beach is exposed to the wind blowing from the south-southwest-west. The navigator is recommended to anchor in the surroundings of the small island. There is a sandy ground with seaweed an a depth that ranges between four and five metres. You have to avoid only the entrance channel which is used by the passenger launches to reach this beach. The nearest port facilities are located at Club Nàutic Santa Ponça, at 3,8 nautical miles. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs.You can park your car for free in the surroundings of this beach. You can also reach this beach with the public transport.
