Binibeca Nou is situated at six kilometres from Sant Lluís, located between Punta Binibeca and Cala Torret, as well as next to the village Binibeca or Binibéquer (very attractive for tourists due to the particular architecture, like an old village of fishers, designed by the architect Antoni Sintes). From its coast you can see Escull Illots de Binibeca. This beach is the result of a large u-shaped sea inlet which is surrounded by low rocky areas. It is also characterized by being quite big, it has fine-grained white sand, a small system of dunes and fixing vegetation (scrubland) at the rear, it is exposed to the swell and the wind from the east-southeast, it has a gentle slope, calm crystal clear water, sandy ground with seaweed on the sides and it is very crowded by local visitors and tourists. The marine and underwater conditions for diving are excellent. The navigator should know that there is a flagstone, dangerous and marked with buoys, Llosa d’en Caracol, located between the coves of Binibeca and Biniancolla, at four hectometres from the coast. Llosa d’en Caragol is at a depth of 20 metres and at two hectometres in the south and seven metres on the land side. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and the deviations. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings. You can also reach this beach with the public transport during the summer season. Information about this beach may change.
