Cala Vinyes is situated at seven kilometres from Calvià, between Cap des Falcó and Magaluf. From this beach to Buguenvil.lia there are the most developed stretches of the bay of Palma, with a concentration of mass tourism. The residential areas, the touristic buildings and other facilities characterize this landscape nearby on a quite sandy coast. This u-shaped sea inlet finishes on two beaches which form this fine-grained golden sandy area. there is a small promenade between both parts of Cala Vinyes, where there are now lots of palm trees to shelter the huge number of local visitors and tourists who come to this place. The marine and underwater conditions for anchoring boats are excellent in front of this coast which is open to the winds from east and southeast. The best place for anchoring is in the entrance, where there is a sandy ground and the depth ranges from three to six metres. On port side you can see a small jetty. The nearest port facilities are located at Club Nàutic Portals Vells, at 2,3 nautical miles. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs on a sinuous road. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings. You can also reach this beach with the public transport. The nearest bus stop is located nearby.
