Caló d’en/d’es Serral is situated at three kilometres from Sant Antoni de Portmany, located between the beaches of s’Estanyol and Cala Pinet. This coastal area belongs to the bay of Sant Antoni and it is characterized by having a not too big size, the sand is white and fine-grained, the slope is gentle (at 40 metres from the coast there is a depth of one and a half metres), and the wind blows normally gently from the sea or from the side. At the rear there are some holiday buildings, as well as good touristy facilities and different leisure activities. The surface festinated to sunbathing has been artificially expanded with some terraces next to the sea which have then been covered with sand to make them look more natural there are some bushes on these solariums. In the first metres you will find a sandy ground, except near the artificial terraces where there are rocks. Then there is also seaweed in the interior of the bay of Sant Antoni. This fact and the transparency of the water invite you to dive on the surface. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and the deviations. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings. You can also reach this beach with the public transport. The nearest bus stop is located at one hectometre. These characteristics explain that the beach is very crowded by local visitors and tourists. Information about this beach may change.
