Calo Des Burgit
Caló des Burgit is situated at 4,5 kilometres from s’Alqueria Blanca, between Punta de sa Guàrdia (excellent views) and Caló des Macs. This v-shaped sea inlet is a small cove with a thick pine wood that reaches the coastline, and the beach itself has a fine-grained golden sand, a virgin and wild aspect, there is only one traditional building on the left side, and it is surrounded by cliffs that are not very high. The beach is very quiet and quite isolated from the crowded touristy places of this area. The marine and underwater conditions are very good for anchoring boats, if the wind is not blowing from the second and third quadrant. The navigator might anchor with good weather conditions on a sandy ground with some seaweed, at a depth that ranges between four and eight metres. You are only recommended to stay over night in Cala Mondragó if the weather conditions are good. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and deviations carefully. You will pass the beach Caló de sa Barca Trencada until you reach a sort of parking area, where you can leave your private car for free. The last three hectometres have to be done on foot on a trail between the pines. The described characteristics explain that Caló d’es Burgit is not very crowded.
