Platja de Can Pere Antoni is situated at two kilometres east from Palma, just in front of the palm trees of Paseo Marítimo and the impressive silhouette of the gothic cathedral of Palma (La Seu) and the Episcopal palace. The urban sandy area ends with breakwaters on both sides. Winds of the second and third quadrant permitting, the water is quiet enough to take a bath and it is the best moment to anchor a boat on a ground of sand and seaweed. The nearest port facilities are located at Club Nàutic Portitxol, at 0,1 nautical miles east. The fact that Can Pere Antoni is just in front of the maritime façade of Palma explains that it is and urban beach with a massive influx of local people. You can park for free in the surroundings, but the area next to the beach is a pay-parking (ORA or public parking areas). You are recommended to take the public transport to reach this beach, the bus stop is at some hundred metres. Another option to reach the beach is walking or using the cycling lane to enjoy the beautiful view over the bay of Palma, el Parc de la Mar and the skyline of the buildings of the old part of Palma. The inhabitants of Palma and the tourists use the Paseo Marítimo, which goes from Porto Pi to Ciudad Jardín, for athletic and wheel sports. Information about this beach may change.
