Buguenvíl.lia (Cas Català) or Caló dels Malls/Mais is situated at six kilometres from Palma, between Caló de ses Genes and Escola Nacional de Vela Calanova.This coastal stretch of the municipality of Calviá, adjacent to the municipality of Palma, is divided into two different areas. On the western part there is a sandy area with sandy ground, fine-grained and golden, whereas on the eastern part there is a rocky area with gravel and rests of posidonia. There is an artificial wall formed by the touristic buildings and the residential houses until the coastline that closes this part of the majorcan coastline. The marine and underwater conditions are not good for anchoring boats in front of this beach. The nearest port facilities are located at Escola Nacional de Vela Calanova, at 0,3 nautical miles. The proximity to this school explains that it is normal to see lots of sailing boats in front of this beach, future navigators who are learning how to use the wind and the sea for sports. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs. The private car can be left on a free parking area. There is a small street that takes to the beach. You can also reach this beach with the public transport. The nearest bus stop is located at one hectometre from this beach. These characteristics explain that the beach is not very crowded by local visitors and tourists. Information about this beach may change.
