Cala Domingos is situated at 11,2 kilometres from Portocolom. The coastline between this beach and Cala Magraner is called Cales de Mallorca. The natural environment is characterized by the pine trees, scrubland and rocks. This beach is long and large, 150 metres both, and it finishes with a fork, Cala es Domingos Petits or Cala Tropicana and Cala es Domingos Grans, which have the same wide entrance and they are divided by a steep rocky headland, which can be passed on foot or on the seaway, and this is where the biggest part of residences and hotels are. Cala Domingos is the most touristic area of the municipality of Manacor, and this is why the beach is very crowded. Cala es Domingos Petits is a narrow sandy area, fine-grained and white, good for anchoring boats because the depth on a sandy ground ranges from six metres at two hectometres from the coast to two metres at half a hectometre. The big sister, Cala es Domingos Grans, has similar land and sea characteristics as the cove nearby, but it is bigger and the depth at a 100 metres from the coast is 3,5 metres. The nearest port facilities are located at Port de Portocolom, at four nautical miles. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings and there is also a bus stop nearby. You can reach the beach of Cala es Domingos Petits from the Club Tropicana, where you can park, or from the village of Cala Murada, going down the stairs. Information about this beach may change.
