N'Aladern

N’Aladern is situated at five kilometres from Cala Ratjada. This beautiful beach is a small sandy area covered by rests of posidonia. The coastline is unspoilt, there is no touristic development and there are only a few houses that can be seen. This sandy area is not very crowded, most of the visitors are local people, residents of Capdepera and Cala Ratjada. The nearest port facilities are located at Club Nàutic Cala Ratjada, at two nautical miles. The distance between n’Aladern and the beach of sa Font de sa Cala is about one kilometre. The differences between both are that the first one is quiet, with no touristic facilities. The accessibility by car is rather complicated if you don’t know which signs you should follow to reach this coastal stretch. Once you are there you can leave your car for free on a parking area for a dozen of vehicles. Then you have to walk to reach n’Aladern. You will pass a lot of sandstone walls on a 200 metres walk. The wonderful beach of n’Aladern is far away from the crowded Cala Ratjada, where you can find restaurants in the port, well known for their fish-based dishes, and the atmosphere at night on the coast of Capdepera. This is even more intense on the 24th of august, San Bartolomé. This is the summer celebration of this village, where you can enjoy the concerts, as well as sports and other cultural activities.
