Portals Nous

Platja de Portals Nous or also Cala Bendinat is situated at 10 kilometres from Palma, between Cala Portals Nous and Punta de na Dina. This u-shaped sea inlet finishes on a small cove. This sandy area with fine-grained golden sand is surrounded by pine trees and some low rocky areas on the side, as well as residential and touristic buildings. At the rear you will see some small boats anchoring. These characteristics explain that the beach is very crowded by local visitors and tourists. The marine and underwater conditions are excellent for anchoring boats on a sandy ground with seaweed and the depth ranges from two to three metres. The nearest port facilities are located at Puerto Portals, at 0,3 nautical miles. It is one of the best infrastructures of the Balearic archipelago and Europe, where you can find some of the most beautiful and expensive boats of the Mediterranean basin, some of the best restaurants of the Balearic Islands and some popular night clubs ideal for young people who live here or visit Majorca. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs, adjacent to the port infrastructure. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings.
