Binibeca Vell is situated at six kilometres from Sant Lluís (in this municipality it is still possible to walk along narrow and nearly unspoilt tracks around the houses like Torret or s’Ullastrar), located between Cala Binissafúller and Caló Fondo, as well as next to the village with the same name and near the residential area of Binibeca or Binibéquer (which is very interesting for tourists due to the particular arquitecture, designed by Antoni Sintes). From its coast you can see Escull de sa Barca and s’Illot de Binissafúller. This bathing area is the result of an open u-shaped sea inlet, surrounded by low rocky areas and a steep coast. It is also characterized by being very small, rocky with no vegetation, and it is exposed to the swell and the wind from the southeast-south-southwest, with a steep slope, sandy ground in the middle and seaweed and rocks on the sides, and it is not very crowded by local visitors and tourists. The marine and underwater conditions for diving are excellent. This coastal stretch is sheltered and it has a ground covered by sand and seaweed. It is also possible to anchor in the adjacent and safe Caló Fondo or in Cala Binissafúller, although it is not so safe. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and the deviations. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings. Information about this beach may change.
