Cala Lliteres
Cala Lliteres is situated at two kilometres from Capdepera. It is surrounded by a residential and holiday village. This narrow sea inlet has formed a rocky beach. The presence of rocks will scare away those who want a comfortable place for sunbathing. But this coastal stretch is a paradise for divers, there are some breathtaking views on a rocky ground. The influx of divers is so big that the diving school occupies nearly all the small space of this cove, with a jetty and a small landing ramp. The intense wind blowing from the north might change the aspect of this beach on this piece of coast together with the waves of a certain height, and this is why the place is not recommended for anchoring boats. In the surroundings you can find l’Olla, a small entrance which can only be reached on the seaway by boats with less than ten metres of length. The nearest port facilities are located at Club Nàutic Cala Ratjada, at 0,5 nautical miles. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs until the village of Cala Lliteres, where you can park for free in the surroundings. The last part has to be done on foot along the promenade of Cala Agulla. These characteristics explain that the beach is not too crowded by local visitors and tourists.
