Cala Murada is situated at eight kilometres from Portocolom, next to the village with the same name. This beach is a fine-grained sandy area, the right part is characterized by low cliffs with some houses on the top. The particularity of the aspect is given by the water of the Torrent des Fangar accumulated during the whole year, and it seems that this beach has to coastlines, one with salted water populated by visitors and the sweet one inhabited by birds. The marine and underwater conditions are excellent for anchoring boats, although it is open to the sea and the wind. The depth ranges from five metres at 220 metres from the coast to two metres at one hectometre from the coast. On the left part you will see a small breakwater surrounded by sandbanks. The nearest port facilities are located at Port de Portocolom, at 3,5 nautical miles. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings of a beach which is normally visited by the residents of the area and the tourists who stay in a hotel nearby. Once you are here, you are recommended to visit Cova de Cala Murada (five metres long, 2,6 large and 1,7 high), a cave from the Bronze Age, in the rock, with three lateral niches and one in the absis, also used by smugglers to hide their loot.
