Caló de sa Barca Trencada is situated at four kilometres from s’Alqueria Blanca. This piece of coast of Migjorn is sandy and surrounded by some hotels in a natural environment with scrubland, pine wood, old holm oaks and dune vegetation. The visitor might find some land turtle on the rural or coastal trails toward Punta des Savinar, next to Cala Figuera. This geological rocky feature is divided into two parts, the left one is a rocky area and the right one a beautiful small beach, with a long sandy area and many pines here and there between small mounds and the centre of this cove. The underwater condititions on this beach exposed to winds from the southwest-west allow anchoring boats nearby, on a sandy ground with a depth of five metres where the entrance begins to narrow. The nearest port facilities are located at Reial Club Nàutic Portopetro, at 1,9 nautical miles. The accessibility by car from s’Alqueria Blanca or Portopetro is easy, but you have to pay attention to the signs. The private car can be left on a free parking area next to this beach. These characteristics and the construction of hotels in the surroundings explain that Platja de sa Barca Trencada is not a virgin coastal corner anymore, but a crowded place with lots of tourists. Information about this beach may change.
