Platja des Pregons Petits is situated at 2,3 kilometres from Colònia de Sant Jordi (ses Salines) and it is the continuation of the bigger beach, la Platja des Pregons Grans. This quiet beach is a small sandy area which is nearly entirely covered by a posidonia meadow which leads the visitors to go to Platja d’es Pregons Grans. Nudism is allowed on this beach. The underwater conditions are good for anchoring on a sandy ground in front of the beach. the manoeuvre won’t be a problem for the navigator of any boat, if the wind is not blowing from the west, northwest and southwest. Depending on the distance to the coast, the depth will range from five metres at 300 metres from the coast, three at 200 and two at 150. If you want to disembark like the pirates, you have to do it in the central part, because there are some rocks at the sides. The nearest port facilities are located at Port Colònia de Sant Jordi, at 1,9 nautical miles. The coastal landscape of Platja des Pregons Petits is full of ghostly bunkers of the Spanish Civil War. It was well known that the stillness of the water and the extension of this sandy area could favour a disembarkation of the enemy forces. These very good conditions were already known by the pirates. This is why at the end of the 16th century the construction of vigilance and defence towers began. Information about this beach may change.
