Sa Pedruscada is situated at two kilometres from Cala Ratjada and the name comes from the stones and pebbles that characterize this small piece of coast. This fact makes sunbathing a bit uncomfortable. There are no touristic buildings in the surroundings. The coastline of this quiet stretch is formed by old small houses and a sort of breakwater on the right that is a jetty. The aspect reminds us an informal fishing harbour, with a lot of small boats which are anchored in this area. The ground is rocky with sandbanks and it is not very deep, so that it is nearly impossible to anchor a boat in this place. But it is a perfect platform for a small boat or for snorkelling. The nearest port facilities are located at Club Nàutic Cala Ratjada, at one nautical mile. The accessibility by car is quite complicated, you will have to follow the signs very carefully and many deviations. At the last U-turn until this small cove you will be at a junction near sa Font de sa Cala. You can also reach sa Pedruscada by bus. The nearest bus stop is located at about a hundred metres. If you are at Son Moll you can follow the sea promenade to reach this beach. These characteristics and the accessibility explain that the beach is not very crowded by local visitors.
